While the accepted industry standard for professional firms such as accountants and attorneys is to bill by the hour, this practice is not only potentially unfair in terms of value to both the provider and the client, but also emphasizes "efficiency" over "effectiveness". We believe that how well you perform an engagement (effectiveness) is more important than how quickly (efficiency) you do it. The abilities and needs of each company are unique. In conjunction with our engagement letter we develop a Client Service Agreement (CSA) with our clients. In the CSA we jointly outline and agree on the scope of the engagement. The scope includes the services to be provided; what support will be provided; when that support will be provided by the client; and when the product will be delivered. Additionally, we outline those areas that most frequently cause a "scope change".
Ultimately, each member of our engagement team is empowered to pursue the direction and alternatives that are in the best interest of our clients. They are not confined by or restricted to an arbitrary "time budget" because we do not bill by the hour. Ultimately we are judged by how effective we are for our clients. Our team is not only free to pursue the best possible solution, but charged with doing so. Our goal is always to exceed your expectations, and we guarantee our performance.
Our work is guaranteed to the satisfaction of the client. If you are not completely satisfied with the services performed by Excelsis, we will, at your option, refund the price or accept a portion of said price that reflects your level of satisfaction. Furthermore, if you ever receive an invoice without first authorizing the service and or the price, you are not obligated to pay for that service.
